The Buddha’s Prediction

Pajapati, step mother of Buddha, approached the Buddha and asked to be received into the Sangha. The Buddha said no. Still determined, she and 500 women followers cut off their hair, dressed themselves in patched monk’s robes, and set out on foot to follow the traveling Buddha.

When Pajapati and her followers caught up to the Buddha, they were exhausted. Ananda, the Buddha’s cousin and most devoted attendant, found Pajapati in tears, dirty, her feet swollen. “Lady, why are you crying like this?” he asked.

She replied to Ananda that she wished to enter the Sangha and receive ordination, but the Buddha had refused her. Ananda promised to speak to the Buddha on behalf of her.

Ananda sat at the Buddha’s side and argued on behalf of the ordination of women. The Buddha continued to refuse the request. Finally, Ananda asked if there was any reason women could not realize enlightenment and enter Nirvana as well as men.

The Buddha admitted there was no reason a woman could not be enlightened. "Women, Ananda, having gone forth are able to realize the fruit of stream-attainment or the fruit of once-returning or the fruit of non-returning or arahantship," he said.

Ananda had made his point, and the Buddha relented. Pajapati and her 500 followers would be the first Buddhist nuns. But he predicted that allowing women into the Sangha would cause his teachings to survive only half as long – 500 years instead of a 1,000.

2.Without any burden, the donor can enjoy everyday life.
3.Without worry, the donor can eat any kind of food.
4.Without any danger, the donor can own many properties and
5.His or her belongings are safe.

We have donated Kahtain Robe to the monk at KL on last Sunday, as dedicated to my late mom and grand mom who are precious for me ever.

Good Morning!
Today, I went to invigilation hall where I found all of the students were answering the questions silently. Nobody asked the questions back to examiner when she's around. Hinnnnnn: questions might be easy or clear to understand or expected??.
Some students are really hard working, some are moderate and some moving forward slowly as usual.
Make me remind about my siblings: some are hard working. Let's analyze it. Eldest sister is hard working and talkative; she becomes a well known teacher. Second sister is the most smart among all in working and studying but she's not regular person. She becomes a successful agriculturalist and publisher. Here I would like to high light how my elder brother is studying. He's regular and usually spends 2 hrs a day for his study, never takes time beyond 2 hrs. Even during exam period he never reads beyond 10 pm at night, ultimately he wins the races no matter how it is difficult or easy. He's quiet, not talkative, patient but highly determine. He tried secretly to join army to become a army officer but his wish never comes true because of my beloved mom who does not want him to join Army. He obeyed mom's suggestion. Finally he just joined to administration and currently become high ranked senior officer in important administrative department. He might be the one who totally agree this proverb: Slow and steady wins the races".
Dear my beloved and respected brother, please kindly accept my deep respect and kindness to you. Long time no see for almost a decade. I miss you very much. Please forgive me if I have done any mistakes to you when I was young and immature.

Pink Lotus

The Lotus is a sacred flower for Buddhists. As being a Buddhist and gender status, I am fond of loving lotus most among other various flowers. Lotus persuades me ever to take it off from the lake. And then after wash the flowers thoroughly, I really enjoy to donate these beautiful lotus to Buddha. The beautiful and fragrant Lotus flower opens in the morning and petals fall in the afternoon. The beautiful and fragrant Lotus flower opens in the morning and petals fall in the afternoon. Like us, it sleeps at night and opens and gets up in the morning. Look regular repeated diurnal rhythm it belongs too.

Soft skill versus Wisdom

I usually speak shortly and look tough but really love flowers especially lotus.

Perhaps, I am being a female now. I am still remember that last 17 years ago vulnerable Pha out taw ya sayadaw gave explanation about relationship of cause and effect to two young girls who came and paid respects him while he was warded in a hospital. One girl is stout, healthy and strong and another looks soft, pretty. Dagama you might donate the food to Buddha generously to the first one and you might donate the nice flowers and stuffs to Buddha in your past to the latter one. Said sayadaw.

As sayadaw said the latter girl who loves flowers much hate to watch violence movie, to stay in noisy environment. When she becomes a teacher, wants to speak softly to her students.
However, It is difficult to keep to maintain her soft skill currently.
